Jalaun (UP). A steel container full of 279 cash courting again to 1862 and silver ornaments was salvaged through the building of a home in a village right here, and handed over to the Archaeological Survey of India, the official stated on Sunday. .
The cash and ornaments had been recovered on Saturday throughout excavations for the development of the home in Vyas Pura village of Kotwali Jalaun.
Orai District Deputy Magistrate Rajesh Singh stated Kamlesh Kushwaha had been allotted a home beneath the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the foundations of the home had been being dug on Saturday.
He stated an on-site employee fell on the container.
Singh referred to as archaeologists to the scene and gave them the ornaments and cash.
