The identify of Monalisa Das, who’s reportedly an in depth affiliate of Bengali Minister Partha Chatterjee, has emerged in reference to the SSC fraud case. Monalisa Das, a Bangla professor at Kazi Nazrul University in Asansol, west Bengal, can be reportedly under the enforcement company’s scanner.
BJP chief Dilip Ghosh mentioned: “Another person under the ED’s radar is a Monalisa, under whose name 10 apartments are registered. It is also linked to Bangladesh.”
This follows after the ED recovered over Rs 20 crore in cash from the home of Arpita Mukherjee, a close aide of Partha Chatterjee. Arpita Mukherjee was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Saturday.
Bengali Minister Partha Chatterjee was also arrested by the Financial Inquiry Board this morning in connection with their investigation into alleged fraud in the recruitment of teachers.
Partha Chatterjee, who was the state education minister at the time of the alleged fraud, was arrested at his home in south Kolkata after about 26 hours of questioning by ED officers.
