Ahmedabad:: The Gujarat Congress stated on Friday it had suspended 38 officers for six years for participating in anti-party activities throughout assembly elections held in December.
The Gujarat Congress Disciplinary Committee has met twice this month and has thus far obtained 71 complaints in opposition to 95 individuals, its chairman Balubhai Patel informed reporters.
“We have suspended 38 party workers for anti-party activities. Action will also be taken against others. Eight workers have received warnings,” Patel stated.
Surendranagar district chairman Raiyabhai Rathod, Narmada district chairman Harendra Valand and former MP Nandod PD Vasava are among the many 38 who’ve been suspended from the get together, he stated.
