Delhi Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was barred for the second time from attending a summit overseas, has introduced that he’ll “continue” the go to. In his response to Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, he additionally talked about that if one goes along with his logic, then “the Prime Minister will also not be able to go anywhere.”

Mr Kejriwal was invited for the “World Cities Summit” in June by Singapore High Commissioner Simon Wong. He is anticipated to look on the assembly on Aug. 1.

“I humbly beg to differ on the advice of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor,” Mr Kejriwal wrote in response.

“Human life is not divided into the topics mentioned in the three lists of the Constitution. If the visit of every constitutional authority in our country is to be decided based on what topics that authority covers, it will create a ridiculous situation. and practical logjam. So the Prime Minister cannot go anywhere because of most of his visits, he also discusses topics that are on the state list and do not fall within his jurisdiction, “the letter added.

In his letter, he additionally suggested the Lieutenant Governor to “Kindly apply for political clearance from the Central government”.

“After Delhi LG blocked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s visit to Singapore, the CM has now written to the Ministry Of External Affairs for ‘political clearance’. We hope the Center will grant this clearance as this visit is will make India Proud at the World Cities Summit, ”Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said.

“LG suggested Kejriwal to not attend the convention as it’s a convention of mayors. The prime ministers of different states have attended this convention previously. Even the prime minister goes for points associated to state. It means politics at work, “Mr Sisodia informed reporters.

In 2019, the Center denied permission to Mr Kejriwal for the same go to, saying it was inappropriate for a Prime Minister to take part in a gathering already for Mayors. Mr Kejriwal lastly needed to deal with the assembly on-line.
