A Yuva Morcha BJP worker, Praveen Nettaru, was hacked to death with lethal weapons by unknown assailants on a bicycle late Tuesday night time in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district.

After this incident, safety has been tightened in Bellare Village, Dakshina Kannada District. Additional police forces have been additionally dispatched from Mangalore and Udupi.

In the meantime, 5 special police models have been formed to catch the accused. “Five special police teams have been formed to track down the accused. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai expressed his disappointment on the killing of the BJP youth employee and warranted that the accused can be arrested and punished quickly. Bommai tweeted that he “condemned the barbaric killing of Sullia Party activist Praveen Nettaru, Dakshina Kannada. The perpetrators of such a heinous act will soon be arrested and punished according to the law. May Praveen’s soul rest in peace.”

Police stated they’re nonetheless searching for proof. “Only in the media we have now seen details about Kerala bike registration plate. We have not discovered any proof. Several right-wing groups have called a bandh in Sullia and Puttur taluk in Dakshina Kannada to condemn the killing of the BJP youth activist. Right-wing groups have accused the Popular Front of India (PFI) and the Indian Social Democratic Party (SDPI) of being behind the killing.
