“You can’t be pro-insurrection and pro-American,” Joe Biden stated at the Capitol riot on January 6.

President Joe Biden blasted his predecessor Donald Trump on Monday for watching his supporters riot for hours on Jan. 6 whereas police at the US Capitol suffered via a “medieval hell.”

“Brave law enforcement officers went through medieval hell for three hours, dripping with blood, surrounded by carnage, face-to-face with a demented mob that believed the lies of the defeated president,” Biden stated in National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives. Meeting.

“For three hours, the defeated former president of the United States watched everything unfold as he sat in the comfort of the private dining room next to the Oval Office,” he stated.

“The police were heroes that day. Donald Trump didn’t have the guts to act,” Biden stated, including: “You can’t be pro-insurrection and pro-cop. You can’t be pro-insurrection and pro-democracy. You cannot be insurgent and pro-American.”

His criticism of Trump echoed the conclusion of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol, which on Thursday laid out a searing, prime-time indictment of the former president’s refusal to cease or condemn the violence.

Biden’s pro-police remarks — criticized by Republicans for rising violence in the United States — search to enhance his crime credentials forward of November’s midterm elections, that are anticipated to be painful for Democratic Party.
