Mumbai:: Former Maharashtra health minister Deepak Sawant was injured after a car he was touring in was hit by a truck from behind on the Mumbai-Ghodbunder freeway on Friday afternoon, police mentioned .
According to officers, the previous minister was on his strategy to Palghar when the incident occurred.

“Deepak Sawant was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Mumbai and is undergoing treatment,” police mentioned. “The accused truck driver has been arrested,” they mentioned.
