At least 50 employees fell sick right now following a gasoline leak at an attire manufacturing unit within the Brandix Special Economic Zone in Andhra Pradesh’s Anakkapalle district. Workers complained of nausea and vomiting after the gasoline leak.

The employees – all girls, based on information company PTI – got first help on the medical middle within the SEZ and later shifted to close by hospitals.

“Gas leakage has been reported to have occurred in the Brandix area. 50 people have been shifted to hospitals, and evacuation is underway in the area,” mentioned Superintendent of Police, Anakkapalle.

The same incident occurred within the district on June 3 when greater than 200 girls employees fainted after complaining of eye ache, nausea, and vomiting. Officials suspect that ammonia gasoline leaked from the Porus Laboratories unit within the space.

A crew of consultants from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology in Hyderabad visited the lab and performed assessments to find out the reason for the leak because the State Pollution Control Board ordered the lab’s closure.
