According to IMD, after January 14, the climate is predicted to stay dry, whereas a chilly snap alert in the decrease districts of Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Una and Mandi has been issued in the area.

Kothi in Kullu district received 15cm of snowfall, Hansa in Lahaul-Spiti recorded 9cm of snowfall. fresh snowfall and upper reaches of Shimla district recorded 5 fresh snowfalls,” IMD stated. He added that over the next 48 hours the higher reaches of Kinnaur, Chamba, Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu and Shimla districts are anticipated to obtain mild to reasonable snowfall.
