Major Infiltration bid foiled in J-K’s Uri, 3 terrorists killed

Srinagar. Three infiltration bids and one smuggling bid from Narco have been foiled in the final 72 hours in Jammu and Kashmir. Police say three terrorists had been killed as a significant infiltration try was foiled by military and police in Kamalkot space, Uri space, Baramulla district, north of Kashmir.

Police mentioned the military and Baramullah police managed to foil the infiltration by killing three terrorists in Kamalkot Uri. Kashmir Zone Police tweeted: “Army and Baramulla Police neutralized 3 Infiltrators (FT) near Madiyan Nanak post in Kamalkote sector of Uri. More details to follow.”

Police sources mentioned the our bodies of the three terrorists together with weapons and ammunition had been recovered from the scene, however their identities are being verified. Previously, two infiltration makes an attempt had been thwarted, two Pakistani terrorists had been killed whereas one other had been captured by the Indian military in the Naushera sector.

Meanwhile, BSF in a press launch mentioned: “Today in the early hours of the day, alert BSF troops foiled a contraband bid across the international border in the Samba area where a Pakistani intruder has shot down. We recovered about 8 packages of narcotics (heroin) at the international border in the Samba area.” “The injured smuggler managed to crawl towards the Pakistani side. Bloodstains of injured smugglers were found.”
