New Delhi: Aam Aadmi get together chief and former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia was remanded for 7 days till March 17 within the Delhi excise coverage case on Friday March 10 , after a courtroom listening to. Lead attorneys Krishanan, Mathur and Aggarwal argued for Sisodia, saying he had not been summoned by the ED and that his arrest was illegal as a result of the regulation had not been adopted. Sisodia was arrested by the ED beneath the Prevention of Money (*17*) Act (PMLA) following his second spherical of questioning at Tihar jail.

Like the CBI, the ED claimed that Sisodia was “evasive” in his solutions throughout questioning and “not cooperating with the investigation.”

Reacting to current developments within the case, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter on Thursday and stated: “First, Manish was arrested by CBI. CBI found no evidence and no money was found in the raids. Tomorrow there is a bail hearing. He would have been released tomorrow. So ED arrested him today. They only have one goal – keep Manish inside at all costs by slapping fake cases. People are watching. They will respond.”
