Images of Arpita Mukherjee talking at a TMC election rally in 2021 have emerged days after the party denied having any hyperlinks to her. Arpita is a detailed affiliate of Partha Chatterjee who was arrested within the case of the Bengali lecturers recruitment rip-off.

The Trinamool Congress has distanced itself from Arpita Mukherjee, Partha Chatterjee’s shut aide, because the Enforcement Directorate (ED) stole a mountain of money from her within the instructor recruitment fraud case.

India Today has accessed photos of a TMC marketing campaign rally the place Arpita Mukherjee is seen sharing a stage with arrested senior chief Partha Chatterjee.

At this 2021 election rally, Partha and Arpita, together with different TMC officers, addressed the group.

However, the TMC has denied having any ties to Arpita. On July 22, party spokesman Kunal Ghosh claimed that Partha Chatterjee was the sufferer of a conspiracy and denied experiences of Arpita’s hyperlinks with the party. But the photographs from the 2021 rally say one thing else.

Partha Chatterjee was arrested by prosecutors on July 23 in a multicrore college job fraud case. According to ED, Arpita Mukherjee has informed investigators that just about Rs 50 crore in money and gold seized through the raids belong to Partha Chatterjee.

However, he has claimed to have been the sufferer of a conspiracy and has expressed dissatisfaction with TMC’s resolution to droop him.
