New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka and Kerala on September 1-2. It will commission the primary indigenous plane service INS Vikrant at Cochin Shipyard Limited in Kochi on Thursday.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the muse stone of tasks price round Rs 3,800 crores a day later in Mangaluru, Karnataka.

INS Vikrant was designed by the Indian Navy’s Warship Design Bureau (WDB) and constructed by Cochin Shipyard Limited. Vikrant is supplied with superior automation options and is the most important vessel ever constructed in India’s maritime historical past.

The Prime Minister will visit Sri Adi Shankara Janma Bhoomi Kshetram, the sacred birthplace of Adi Shankaracharya, in Kalady village close to Cochin airport on Thursday.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the mission price over Rs 280 crore for the mechanization of Berth No. 14 for dealing with containers and different cargo, undertaken by the New Mangalore Port Authority.

The Prime Minister will lay the muse stone for 5 tasks price round Rs 1,000 crore, undertaken by the port.
