Jodhpur (Rajasthan). A Rajasthan authorities engineer has been suspended for violating President Draupadi Murmu’s safety protocol and attempting to touch his feet during an event on January 4. The Public Health Engineering Department suspended the engineer on Friday after the Home Office intervened.

“Amba Siyol, a PHED junior engineer, had violated protocol during an inaugural program of the Scout Guides Jamboree in Rohet on January 4 by attempting to touch the feet of the President, thereby invoking powers under the rule of the civil service of Rajasthan. , it is suspended with immediate effect,” reads the order of the Chief Engineer (Administration), PHED.
