Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a number of other other leaders have expressed grief over the demise of prime chief Sharad Yadav. Prime Minister Modi stated Yadav was impressed by the beliefs of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia and distinguished himself as an MP and minister.

“Painted by the passing of Shri Sharad Yadav Ji. During his long years in public life, he distinguished himself as a deputy and a minister. He was greatly inspired by the ideals of Dr. Lohia. I will always cherish our interactions. Condolences to his family and admirers: Om Shant,” Prime Minister Modi stated.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav stated: “I’m saddened by the information of the premature passing of Mandal Messiah, senior chief of the RJD, nice socialist chief and my revered guardian Sharad Yadav ji. I’m unable to say no matter. I had a chat with mom and brother Shantanu. In this hour of mourning, the entire Samajwadi household is with the relations.

Sharad Yadav, a veteran politician and former head of JD(U), died Thursday at a non-public hospital in Gurugram, household sources stated. He was 75 years previous. He is survived by his spouse, a daughter and a son.

Yadav who had began his personal get together Loktantrik Janata Dal, merged with Lalu Yadav’s RJD group in March 2020, which he stated was the “first step towards a united opposition”. Sharad Yadav had shaped Loktantrik Janata Dal in 2018 angered by the return of Janata Dal (United) to an alliance with the BJP in Bihar.
