A 54-year-old man, needed in 5 legal circumstances and on the run since 2001, was arrested on Sunday, police stated.
The particular job pressure caught Mahabir, carrying a reward of Rs 25,000, from the Rohtak of Haryana, they stated.
Mahabir is a resident of Isharwal village in Bhiwani district, police stated.
He was on the run in a kidnapping case registered at Tosham police station in Bhiwani in 2001, a senior STF official stated.
“The defendant disclosed his involvement in 5 circumstances of kidnapping, tried homicide, brawling and explosive acts recorded at Tosham Police Station.
“We will hand him over to Tosham Police for further action,” stated Jaiveer Rathee, DSP, STF, Gurugram.
