Setting an instance outdoors the political sphere, Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha, carried out a profitable dental surgery at his former office in Japan on Wednesday, illustrating his dedication to his career even after taking his duties seven months in the past. The Chief Minister entered his former office Tripura Medical College in Japan at 9am immediately for a cystic lesion within the mouth of a 10-year-old boy. Performing a profitable operation, he walked out of the working room round 9:30 a.m. with a smile on his face.

He was assisted by Dr. Amit Lal Goswami, Dr. Puja Debnath, Dr. Rudra Prasad Chakrabarty from Department of Dental Surgery and Maxillary Facial Surgery. Dr. Smita Paul, Dr. Kanchan Das, Dr. Sharmishtha Banik Sen and Dr. Baishali Saha have been additionally a part of the medical group.

The anesthesia group included Dr Kangchai Chowdhury, Dr Paromita Das and Dr Aditi Bhattacharjee. Later, talking to the media, Dr. Saha stated that Akshit Ghosh, son of Sukanta Ghosh, was in good situation after the operation. “There was no difficulty even though I performed the operation after a long interval,” he informed reporters.
