Vidisha:: A 7-year-old boy fell right into a borehole in Vidisha district, Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday and an operation is underway to rescue the kid, an official stated. Officials stated the borehole was 60 ft deep and the boy was caught at a depth of 43 ft. A parallel grave is being dug with the assistance of JCB machines (earthmoving equipment) to extract the kid, they stated.

The boy, Lokesh Ahirwar, was taking part in when he slipped into the slim gap round 11 a.m. in Kherkhedi Pathar village beneath Lateri tehsil within the district, the official stated. After being alerted by the villagers, a rescue crew arrived on the scene and started an operation to extract the kid safely, stated Harshal Choudhary, Lateri Subdivision Magistrate.


An oxygen hose has been lowered into the borehole and rescuers are monitoring the trapped boy by an evening imaginative and prescient machine, Vidisha collector Umashankar Bhargava stated.
